The collection of tablets of HTC is not among the richest in the tech arena, but the models in it definitely have a lot to offer to users. Recent rumors about the company’s plans to release a 7-inch tablet evoked curiosity in the digit world. The codename of the device is H7. Thanks to the Indian website for export/import Zauba we finally can share more details about the upcoming tablet.
The alleged 7-inch HTC-branded tablet passed through the border described as a sample for research and development. It sports a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and 1GB RAM. It is a dual-SIM device. The internal memory assured by default is 16GB. The upcoming slate has low-end capabilities, therefore we don’t expect to see cellular connectivity provided in it.
The platform running on the hardware is not mentioned in the leak. It is an easy guess to make that the HTC-branded new tablet is working on Android 5.0 Lollipop. No more information about the device is revealed yet. We will wait and see. Everything shows that the model is in its final stages of testing before release. Hopefully soon we will know more.
