Nokia and the company that licenses the name of the brand, HMD Global introduced the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3310 just a few weeks after the announcement of the Nokia 6. By the way, the Nokia 6 is getting launched globally, so more news for the fans of the brand. Without wasting more words, let’s present you with the models.
The Nokia 5 is a 5.2-incher packed with an HD screen. A slick design and a corpus made of aluminum are amongst the advantages of the handset. It has an octa-core processor on board with Snapdragon chipset and 2GB of RAM. In terms of memory the mid-ranger carries 16GB by default. It packs a 13MP primary camera on the back and an 8MP front-facing snapper on the face panel. The software that powers the Nokia 5 is Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 3000mAh battery under the hood. The mid-ranger will cost €189/$199 unlocked. It comes in silver, black, tempered blue and copper colors. Sounds good, right?
The Nokia 3 is the most model device of the gang in terms of specs. It has similar looks to its larger siblings and just like them arrives in an aluminum shell. The screen of the Nokia 3 is with a 5-inch diagonal, HD resolution. It works with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The provided RAM is 2GB and the storage is 16GB. Nokia 3310 was a frequent visitor of the rumor mill in the tech world during the last months. The most discussed feature of the device was the incredible battery life – 22 hours of talk time and the whooping 1 month standby time. The Nokia 3310 is not exactly a smartphone but more like a “feature phone” because of its limited internet capabilities. The software pre-installed on the model is S30+. It has only one camera with a 2MP sensor. The handset is expected to be much appreciated by the users who are missing the good ol’ times with long-lasting phones and classic games, like the Snake. The Nokia 3310 costs €49 ($51.75; £41.51). It comes in many different colors.
Rumors have it that the HMD Global company is planning to release a high-end Nokia on the market later this year. Remains to be seen… stay tuned.
