The new trio HTC Desire 825, Desire 630 and Desire 530 goes official at MWC 2016
HTC certainly has the Desire to heat up the competition on the arena of the affordable phones with three new additions of its famous line of smartphones. The new handsets are making their official debut at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. The HTC Desire 530, HTC Desire 630 and HTC Desire 825 stand out with attractive looks with unique paint-speckled designs of the polycarbonate panels. More ordinary variants of the phones are also available for those who don’t like the extraordinary speckled appearance.
The most advanced smartphone of the trio is the HTC Desire 825. It has a 5.5-inches Super LCD screen with a modest resolution of 720p (it is a bit disappointing that the resolution is so low). The processor tucked under the hood of the Desire 825 is quad-core clocked at 1.4GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip. It is paired with 2GB RAM. The smartphone boasts 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded easily with microSD cards. The platform running on the Desire 825 is Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is one of the advantages of the model. Speaking of advantages, the Desire 825 is outfitted with a Hi-Res headset added in the package. The handset is Hi-Res Audio certified. It is provided with BoomSound with Dolby Audio. The rear camera of the phone is a 13MP rear sensor. The secondary camera for selfies is a 5MP snapper with some nice features for impeccable selfies. The battery of Desire 825 is with a capacity of 2700mAh. The device is LTE-enabled. HTC will release a variant of the phone with dual-SIM capabilities. In terms of appearance, the extraordinary color options for the Desire 825 include Status White with gray and pink speckles, and Graphite Grey Remix adorned with gold speckles.
HTC Desire 630 is in the middle of the new trio in terms of specs. It is a smaller device compared to the Desire 825 – sports a 5-inch screen. Most of the specs of Desire 630 resemble the features and capabilities of the bigger model. The handset boasts a 2200mAh battery under the hood.
The entry-level HTC Desire 530 is packed with a 5-inch, 720p display. Under the hood of the phone is ticking Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor in a configuration with 1.5GB RAM. The internal memory equipped with the device is 16GB (expandable). On the back of the Desire 530 lies an 8MP camera while the front-facing snapper is the same as the camera of Desire 630, a 5MP camera for awesome selfies. It has two speakers on the front side but apart from its siblings it is not Hi-Res audio certified.
The three new Desire members are landing on the markets in March. Prices are yet to be unveiled, but if the sets of specs make the hint that they’ll be affordable.
