The new generation Motorola Moto G (2015) is finally here, customizable and rich of specs
Motorola’s fans have been waiting almost a year for the event that was held today. The company officially presented the new generation of the most popular lines Moto X and Moto G. For the joy of its fans, the company took the wraps off another smartphone. With other words – three new handsets officially debuted few hours ago – Motorola Moto G (2015), Motorola Moto X Style and Motorola Moto X Play. First things first, let’s see what the third generation Motorola Moto G has to offer.
The smartphone comes with a new design – more stylish and appealing than its predecessor. One of the cool things about Moto G (2015) is that it is water-, and dust-resistant. The smartphone has IPx7 certificate which means that it can handle dipping in 1m deep water for up to 30 min. The size of the screen is 5-inch in diagonal with 720p resolution. It might not be the best display we have seen in a mid-ranger, but there is no doubt that Motorola has done its best to tuck abundance of features in an affordable package. The performance of the screen is satisfying with crisp picture. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it for a better protection. The CPU that powers the Motorola Moto G (2015) is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz with the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip. Motorola is releasing two variants of the affordable new Moto G.
One of the features 1GB RAM and provided 8GB memory by default. The second version is outfitted with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The new generation Moto G supports microSD cards in case users prefer to have more memory on board. The software that is pre-installed on the handset is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Motorola keeps its tradition to assure almost vanilla Android experience to users. The primary camera of Moto G (2015) is with 13MP, dual-LED dual-tone flash set on the back plate. The front camera is with 5MP. The smartphone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS and 4G LTE connectivity. Motorola Moto G (2015) works with a 2470mAh cell. There were gossips that Motorola will include the mid-ranger in the Moto Maker family. The company officially confirmed the rumors – you can customize the model through the tool.
Moto G (2015) is already available to buy. It costs $180 for the variant with 1GB RAM/8GB storage, and $220 for the mode with 2GB RAM/16GB memory.
