Verizon Wireless officially launched a blue variant of the Motorola Droid Turbo
The Big Red in the US is adding a new Blue to its palette. With other words – Verizon Wireless which is one of the biggest mobile operators in the States is launching a new variant of the Motorola Droid Turbo smartphone. As you have probably guessed, it comes in a blue shell. The new version of the smartphone is named Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon. It stands out with a dark blue color and the same slick design of the original model. The specs of the device are also the same as its sibling.
It comes with a 5.2-inch glass Super AMOLED. The resolution of the display is 1440 x 2560p. On the inside of the Motorola Droid Turbo is ticking a processor with four cores clocked at 2.7GHz. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory. MicroSD cards are not supported in the model, so if you want to expand the storage, you can use cloud storage. The chipset integrated in the Droid Turbo is Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. The smartphone is equipped with a rather nice rear camera with a 21MP resolution and dual-LED flash. The snapper for video calls is with 2MP. The battery that is integrated in the device has a capacity of 3900mAh and thanks to the extraordinary capabilities of the model, it can be recharged for very short time.
Motorola Droid Turbo Sapphire Blue Ballistic Nylon can be yours for $199.99 and signed two-year contract. It is available in the online store of the mobile operator. The retail price of the smartphone is $599.99 for those of you who prefer to get it without a commitment. Verizon provides the option to buy it with the Verizon Edge plan. If you choose this option, you will pay $24.99 monthly payments for 24 months.
