New leak with render photos of Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and Droid Maxx 2 surfaced ahead of announcement
Motorola is expanding its Droid line of smartphones. The upcoming Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and Motorola Droid Maxx 2 are expected to debut tomorrow, on 27th of October. Both devices will land on the shelves of the US carrier Verizon Wireless. Just days before the big event both smartphones appeared in a leak with renders. The images give us a glimpse on the Droid Maxx 2 (the last two pictured devices) with a clean from logos front panel. On the back of the smartphone are placed the logos of the carrier and the Droid series. Its sibling, the Droid Turbo 2 has the Verizon logo on the front side and the Droid logo on its rear panel.
The new models of Motorola have several color variants. The most classic Motorola’s choice for this line is the setup of black and white front panels paired with different back plates. Motorola Droid Turbo 2 features texturized rear covers and one variant with a smooth case.
The second upcoming handset, the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 fascinates in blue and white colors. In terms of specs, the smartphone is a mid-ranger with a similar set of specs to Motorola Moto X Play released this summer. It sports a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip and 2GB RAM. The camera of the device is with a resolution of 21MP.
Motorola Droid Turbo is more high-end smartphone with QHD screen and the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip under the hood. Stay tuned for more details.
