Samsung officially announced the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro in China

The newest mid-ranged smartphone of Samsung debuted officially in China. The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro was a frequent visitor to the rumor mill in the last weeks. The smartphone offers a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. It boasts a resolution of 1080 pixels. In the gut of the handset is ticking a Snapdragon 625 chip 14nm with eight cores clocked at 2.2GHz. The device works with 4GB RAM.

It is a little disappointing to see that the Galaxy C7 Pro runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow instead of the Android 7.0. Hopes are up that the Korean manufacturer has scheduled an update for the model for the first months since its launching. In terms of internal memory the handset is provided with 64GB by default. It supports microSD cards for the users who prefer to work with more memory.

Now, let’s move to the cameras. The Galaxy C7 Pro packs a 16MP primary rear and front camera sensors with f/1.9 aperture and the capabilities to record FullHD @ 30fps video. Among the advantages of the new mid-ranger are: the support for Samsung Pay and the Always-On function of the screen. It is outfitted with a 3300mAh battery. The colors available for the model are: Arctic Blue, Rose Pink and Maple Leaf Gold. Samsung begins the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro today, 16th of January in China. It costs CNY 2799 (around $405) unlocked.
