The new version of the tablet Microsoft Surface 3 4G LTE is officially released in the US
Earlier this year Microsoft launched the affordable tablet Microsoft Surface 3. The news about the device is that the LTE-enabled variant of the tablet is already available for purchase in the States. The Surface 3 4G LTE is officially listed for sells in the website of Microsoft. Some of the big retailers and carriers, like AT&T and T-Mobile (soon) are offering the tablet as well.
The specs of the Microsoft Surface 3 4G LTE are the same as the original device announced in April. It comes with a 10.8-inch screen with a resolution of 1080p. The model arrived with Intel Atom Z8700 chip integrated in its gut. There are two options for internal memory in the device – 64GB or 128GB. It is powered by Windows 8.1 OS. The main camera of the Surface 2 4G LTE is with a resolution of 8MP (on the back). It is coupled with a 3.5MP sensor (on the front).
Except 4G LTE, the new model supports Wi-Fi and GPS as well. It has a slot for microSD cards that allow expansion of the storage. The tablet supports a stylus. The price of the Microsoft Surface 3 4G LTE is $599 for the 64GB variant off-contract, and $699 for the 128GB model. AT&T is offering the tablet with different plans, so if you are interested on buying the Surface 3 4G LTE without paying the retail price at once, check out what the carrier has to offer.
