The specs of Surface 3 make it an attractive tablet for users who are looking for a full-sized slate with mid-ranged capabilities and offered at reasonable price. The model is outfitted with a 10.8-inch display, 1280 x 1920p resolution. It works with quad-core silicon clocked at 1.6GHz with Intel Atom x7 chip and 4GB RAM or 2GB RAM depending on the variant you choose. The device arrives with Windows 8.1 pre-installed on it. It features an 8MP primary snapper on the rear side. The secondary camera is with 3.5MP resolution.
The battery of Surface 3 provides up to 10 hours battery life. There is abundance of accessories that are released for the tablet. It uses the same pen that is offered for the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. Recently Microsoft officially acquired the patent and the tech used for the manufacturing of the pen from N-trig LTD. The mobile giant paid $30 million for the deal.
