Alcatel Flash Plus 2 is the new all-metal mid-ranger of the company
Alcatel is expanding its “Flash” series with a new all-metal mid-ranger dubbed Alcatel Flash Plus 2. The smartphone stands out with a 5.5-inch screen, 1080p resolution. It is powered by octa-core processor with Helio P10 chip in a configuration with Mali-T860MP2 responsible for the graphics.
Alcatel is launching two variations of the Flash Plus 2. One of the models has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage while the second device features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Software-wise, the new handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow by default. The primary rear camera of the Alcatel Flash Plus 2 is a 13MP camera which is pretty standard for this category devices. The selfie camera on the face side of the phone is with a resolution of 5MP and has a LED flash.
The battery that powers the new handset is a 3000mAh cell. Other advantages of the device include a microSD card slot and a fingerprint scanner. It supports LTE connectivity. The new addition of the Flash family is a dual-SIM device. The colors available for the smartphone include Venus Gold and Luna Silver. It is getting launched in Malaysia, Vietnam, Monaco, Philippines and Thailand. The price for the unlocked phone is around $160 for the modest version and $190 for the 3GB/32GB model.
