The new 5.7-inch flagship Meizu Pro 5 goes official in Beijing, China
Meizu Pro 5 is the newest impressive phablet of the Chinese OEM Meizu. At first glance the large-sized smartphone fascinates with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display and an elegant design. On the inside the Meizu Pro 5 is outfitted with high-end specs and capabilities. The body of the phablet is made from glass and metal with nicely rounded edges. The resolution of the screen is 1080p. It has a 2.5D curved glass on top of it that enhances the protection against hits and scratches.
Meizu Pro 5 works with an octa-core processor with Exynos 7420 chip courtesy of Samsung ticking at 2.5GHz. There are two versions of the phablet in terms of RAM and storage. One of the models works with 3GB RAM and boasts 32GB of storage, while the other variation is provided with 4GB RAM and assures 64GB of memory. Both models support MicroSD cards. Meizu Pro 5 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop customized with the latest update of the user interface of Meizu, Flyme 5.
The primary camera of the flagship is with 21.6MP resolution 1/2.4-inch SONY IMX230 sensor with laser autofocus. The front panel is adorned with a 5MP camera for selfies. The battery of the large-sized phablet is with a capacity of 3050mAh. The supported connectivity features of the smartphone include TD-LTE, VoLTE and FDD-LTE. The home button of the flagship hosts a fingerprint sensor. Meizu Pro 5 is getting launched on 12th of October. The price of the 3GB/32GB variant is CNY 2800 (around $439). The variant with 4GB/64GB will be available for CNY 3100 ($490).
