Rumors about an upcoming Ubuntu-powered variant of the flagship Meizu MX4 were drawing attention in the last weeks. The latest news from Meizu confirmed the gossips – Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition is officially announced in China. The specs and the capabilities of the new model resemble the features of the original MX4 except the software. The screen of the smartphone is with 5.36-inch diagonal and 1920 x 1152p resolution. It works with octa-core silicon clocked at 2.2GHz with MediaTek MT6595 chip and 2GB RAM. The assured storage by default is 16GB. There is no a slot for microSD cards, so keep that in mind.
