The Chinese manufacturer Meizu outs the Meizu Pro 6 Plus and Meizu M3X
Meizu debuted two new mid-rangers with pretty good specs and sleek exteriors. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus and the Meizu M3X were officially unveiled in China.
Meizu M3X is smaller in size than the Pro 6 Plus. It is outfitted with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. The hardware that powers the phone includes the powerful MediaTek Helio P20 chip. It comes in two versions – one of them packs 3GB RAM and 32GB of memory while the second one is provided with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage.
Both new smartphones run on Flyme 6.0 over Android. On the back of the M3X is set a 12MP camera with Sony IMX386 sensor. The secondary camera is with 5MP resolution for selfies and video calls. Among the extra features of the handset are the fingerprint sensor and the USB Type-C port. The device supports Quick Charge 3.0. The Meizu M3X is also known as Blue Charm X. It is getting launched in blue, gold, black and white colors. The price of the 3GB/32GB model in China is CNY 1700 (around $245).
The Pro 6 Plus…
The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is larger in size than the M3X. It comes with a 5.7-inch Super AMPLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It supports the Always On functionality for better user experience. Under the hood of the phablet is ticking the same chipset that is equipped with the flagships Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the Exynos 8890.
The 64GB variant of the device is slightly less powerful clocked at 2GHz. The 128GB model arrives with a processor working on 2.3GHz. The amount of RAM in Meizu Pro 6 Plus is 4GB. The primary camera of the smartphone is with 12MP resolution and Sony IMX386 sensor. It features OIS and a 10-LED ring flash with dual-tone among other extras. There is laser autofocus and f/2.0 aperture of the camera. The selfie shoots is with 5MP resolution and lens with aperture f/2.0.
One of the most impressive features of the Pro 6 Plus is its mTouch fingerprint reader – faster than you can imagine and has a built-in heart rate sensor. Amongst the connectivity features of the device is USB Type-C port. The Meizu Pro 6 Plus is getting launched in gray, silver and champagne colors. The 64GB model costs CNY 3000 (around $436) unlocked.
