The Vietnam-based company Karalux revealed 24K gold-plated versions of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. The front and the rare panels of the devices are made from Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The metal frame of the flagships is adorned with gold treatment along with the camera module. The gold-plated shells are durable to corrosion thanks to the additional nano layer. The price of the premium Samsung Galaxy S6 is the regular price for the phone and VND 8 million (around $400) additional costs for the gold treatment.
The US-based Gresso know for its luxury smartphones presented extraordinary variants of the flagship Apple iPhone 6. The new models are made from premium materials like 18K gold and titanium. The devices are hand-crafter. Gresso offers three variations. The G1 is outfitted with a titanium case. It comes with 64GB storage. The G2 is provided with 128GB. G2 and G3 feature black PVD coating. G2 is made from 18K white gold. The G3 is “dressed” in a panel made from yellow gold. All three models have improved durability. The prices of the flagships with Luxury Minimalism design as Gresso refers to it are premium, too. You can buy the G1 for $3000, the G2 and G3 are available for $5000.
