LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE was introduced in NYC
LG V10 stole the spotlight at the event in NYC, but it was not the only “star of the show.” The Korean manufacturer unveiled the new smartwatch LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE. The timepiece is the successor of the LG Watch Urbane LTE. The new device has more advanced specs and runs on Android Wear OS while the original smartwatch is powered by WebOS.
The specs of the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE include a full circular screen P-OLED with 1.38-inch diameter and a resolution of 480 x 480p. The pixel density of the screen is 348ppi. In its case is tucked a quad-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset set at 1.2GHz. It is promising a fast performance that is enriched by the 768MB RAM on board.
The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is outfitted with 4GB memory by default. As we mentioned above, the new smartwatch is part of the growing Android Wear family and runs on the latest update of the platform. The timepiece is well endowed with abundance of sensors, such as a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a compass, a heart rate monitor, a barometer etc. The battery of the smartwatch is a 570mAh cell. In terms of connectivity the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE supports Bluetooth, 3G and 4G LTE. The case of the smartwatch features a frame of stainless steel. The case itself is with IP67 certificate which makes it water and dust-resistant.
