LG V10 Debuts in NYC Packed with a Secondary Screen and Duo Front Cameras

LG hosted a big event in New York City, US. The occasion was the debut of the extraordinary phablet with flagship specs, the LG V10. There is a lot to say about this large-sized smartphone. It sports a Secod Screen feature and a dual front facing camera. Before we present you with more details about the special features of the LG V10, let’s reveal the main specs of the device.

The case of LG V10 sports 316L stainless steel frame. The back plate of the phablet is removable. It is named Dura Skin and it is made of silicon-like material that provides an excellent grip. The new flagship boasts dimensions of the panel 159.6 x 79.3 x 8.6mm and weighs 192 grams. It comes with a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560p. The display is protected by dual-layer Gorilla Glass 4. It is the main screen. Above it is set a secondary display with 2.1-inch with a resolution of 1040 x 160p.

The hardware configuration of the phablet includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset with hexa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM. LG V10 has 64GB internal memory and a slot for cards microSD that assures expansion of the storage. The new high-end phablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The flagship is outfitted with a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 lens and laser autofocus, OIS and LED flash. LG G4 is packed with the same camera module on the back. Something interesting about the main camera of LG V10 is the manual controls that enable users to adjust different settings of the camera, including the sound volume.

The front-facing camera of the smartphone is one of its key features. It sports two 5MP sensors on the front. One of the boasts a standard angle lens. The second front camera has a wide angle lens that makes it more appropriate for the group selfies. In the “belly” of the phablet is working a 3000mAh battery. LG V10 has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.

In terms of connectivity features users have it all – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, NFC and 4G LTE Cat.6. LG V10 will be offered in beige, white, dark blue, light blue and black. The launching of the phablet is scheduled for later this month. The price is yet to be revealed.
