A new tablet on the horizon – LG starts selling LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE on December 23rd
It has been awhile since we have shared any news about the tablets of the Korean manufacturer, LG. This is changing now with the announcement of the LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE. It joins the LG G Pad II 8.0 and G Pad II 10.1 released earlier this year. The new tablet is outfitted with an 8.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The hardware that powers the slate includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip with eight core processor, and 2GB RAM. LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device arrives with Microsoft Office apps pre-installed. It features 16GB of storage. Users who want to have more memory at their disposal can add microSD cards. On the back of the new tablet is located the primary 8MP camera. It is coupled with a 2MP secondary camera on the front side. Perhaps you have probably guessed already that the slate supports 4G LTE connectivity. The rest of the features include support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The G Pad II 8.3 has a built-in stylus for more comfortable work. The battery armed in the slate is with 4800mAh.
The color option for the new tablet is Brown Gold. The LG G Pad II 8.3 LTE is getting launched in its home country, South Korea. It will be available for purchase since tomorrow. However the price of the tablet is not revealed yet. The new addition of LG is a nice upgrade of the LG G Pad II 8.0 in terms of screen resolution and specs. It is not revealed yet whether the LTE-enabled slate will be released to different markets worldwide. We will wait and see.
