Google unveiled the 5.2-incher LG Nexus 5X
LG Nexus 5X was unveiled along with the new phablet Huawei Nexus 6P at the special event of Google. It is a 5.2-incher outfitted with an IPS LCD glass, 1080p resolution. There is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of the screen for an improved protection. The CPU included in the device is with six cores with Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip and 2GB RAM. Here is the place to add that Adreno 418 GPU is integrated in the device for the graphics.
The Nexus 5X will be offered in two variants – with 16GB and 32GB. Just like its larger sibling, the Nexus 6P, the smartphone does not support microSD cards. The model runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. On the backplate of the Nexus 5X lies a 12.3MP camera with f/2.0 aperture 1.55 micron pixel size. It is enriched with an IR laser-assisted autofocus and a dual flash setup. The secondary camera is with 5MP resolution.
The smartphone works with a 2700mAh cell in its chassis. It boasts a fingerprint scanner for improved security of users. The Nexus 5X arrives with USB Type C. The connectivity capabilities of the device include support for 4G LTE. LG Nexus 5X will land on the shelves of retailers and carriers worldwide in several colors, including Ice Blue, Black and White colors. Pre-orders are on for the early-bird users. It costs $379 for the 16GB model and $429 for the 32GB variant. Shipping begins at the end of October.
