LG L25 was spotted in a new leak
The tipster @upleaks has just delivered a juicy gossip for a new smartphone coming from LG. The interesting about the LG L25 handset is that it is the first device of the company that is powered by the relatively young mobile platform Firefox OS. Most of the current models that are working on the operating system are mid-rangers. The leakster @upleaks shared a leak with more information and screenshots of the alleged Firefox OS-powered smartphone. We can see the interface of LG L25. The screenshots give some idea for the design of the model, but the appearance of the upcoming phone remains a mystery.
The leak does not reveal details about the specs of the phone. The source shares that the mid-ranger will be released by KDDI which is one of the biggest mobile operators in Japan. Rumors have it that it won’t be launched outside the country. There is a lot to learn yet about the upcoming smartphone. Hopefully the rumor mill will shed more light on the launch date, the price and the capabilities of the LG L25. Alcatel and ZTE were the first manufacturers that launched smartphones running on the platform – ZTE Open series and Alcatel One Touch Fire line.
It is definitely good news that another manufacturer is ready to release a device powered by the new platform especially for mobile users who are looking for alternatives to the most popular operating systems. Firefox OS is a Limux kernel-based open-source OS, HTML5 developed by Mozilla.
