The flip phone LG Gentle is released as LG Wine Smart
We recently shared the news for the arrival of the LG Gentle – the new clamshell smartphone by LG that has the potential to grab the hearts of the users who fancy flip phones. The primary markets for these types of smartphones that have the charisma of the old-fashion design and the capabilities of modern handsets are countries across Asia.
Before you feel disappointed that the clamshell device will not be so easy to find outside South Korean, LG has news for you. LG Gentle is coming to international markets under the name LG Wine Smart. A quick reminder of the specs of the flip phone includes a 3.2-inch display with 420x320p resolution. The processor has four cores set at 1.1GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chip. LG Wine Smart runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The flip phone works with 1GB RAM and provides only 4GB of native memory.
Among the features of the smartphone is support for microSD cards. The primary camera outfitted in LG Wine Smart is a rear sensor with a resolution of 3MP. The secondary VGA camera is purposed for video calls. On the inside it is powered by a 1700mAh battery. The new clamshell supports 4G LTE just like its twin LG Gentle. LG Wine Smart will be available to buy in different countries in Europe and Japan. The price of the flip phone will vary a bit on the different markets, but it is more likely to be around $170 unlocked. Anyone interested?
