The upcoming tablet LG G Pad 2 is expected to go official in October
The next generation tablet of the G Pad series, the upcoming LG G Pad 2 is getting attention thanks to a new leak that sheds more light on its specs. The information was recently shared by Leaksfly on Weibo. The leakster reveals that the size of the screen of G Pad 2 is 8.3-inch with a resolution of 1080p.
There are rumors that the mentioned tablet might be the successor of the LG G Pad 8.3 that was launched 2 years ago. Under the hood of G Pad 2 is expected to work a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip with quad-core silicon and Adreno 420 GPU. The tablet is promising an excellent performance of the hardware with 3GB RAM on board. It assures 32GB storage out-of-the-box.
The slate is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The cameras that are provided in the upcoming tablet are a 8MP snapper on the rear panel and a 5MP front-facing camera. The leakster points October for the launching of the LG G Pad 2. The price and the availability of the model are yet to be unveiled.
