Lenovo officially released the mid-ranger with 4000mAh batter – Lenovo P70
In the end of December 2014 we shared the rumors for upcoming smartphone of Lenovo packed with a monstrous battery. The Chinese OEM has just released the new handset on the local markets dubbed Lenovo P70. In terms of specs the phone is a mid-ranger. It sports a square design with slim side bezels. The panel of the new device measures 142 x 71.8 x 8.9mm and weighs 149 grams.
It is outfitted with a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720p. Under the hood of Lenovo P70 is provided an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHh in configuration with MediaTek MT6752 chip with 64-bit architecture. The hardware includes MaliT760-MP2 GPU and 2GB RAM. By default in the phone users have 16GB storage and the possibility to add more memory using microSD cards. The software pre-installed on the P70 is Android 4.4 KitKat. The handset features a 13MP camera on the back plate with LED flash. On the front panel lies a 5MP shooter. The connectivity possibilities of the model include support for Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth and 4G LTE Cat.4.
The color variant for the new addition of Lenovo is midnight blue. It is already up-for-grabs in retailers in China. Customers can purchase the phone for CNY 1399 (around $224 or €198) off-contract. One of the main advantages of the Lenovo P70 is its battery. The handset is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The official data for the model reveals that it can keep the phone working for up to 34 days in standby mode. Rather impressive, isn’t it? The company has not made any hints for international release of P70, at least for now. Stay tuned.
