Lava Iris X5 4G is announced in India

The Indian OEM Lava revealed a new 4G LTE-enabled smartphone named Lava Iris X5 4G. The screen of the mid-ranger is with 720p resolution, 5-inch diagonal and Asahi Dragon Trail Glass on top of it. The dimensions of the panel of the mid-ranger are 141.6 x 70.8 x 7.6mm and weighs 128 grams. Under the hood of the device is provided quad-core silicon with MediaTek MT6735 chip clocked at 1.3GHz with 64-bit architecture. It boasts 2GB RAM. There are 16GB memory on board that can be expanded via microSD cards.

The OS that is running on Lava Iris X5 4G is Android 5.1 Lollipop customized with Star OS user interface. There are two cameras included in the model – a primary snapper with 13MP sensor, dual-LED flash, 5 layer Largan Lens and 1.4 micron pixel size, and a 8MP secondary camera that is set on the front side with 84-degree wide angle lens and LED flash. The connectivity features supported by the Iris X5 4G include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and as we mentioned earlier, 4G LTE.
