The entry-level smartphone Lava Iris Alfa is officially released in India

The India-based manufacturer of budget devices Lava released a new smartphone. The Lava Iris Alfa comes with a 5-inch screen with a resolution 480 x 854p. The panel of the smartphone sports dimensions of 141mm x 71mm x 9.2mm, and weighs156g. It works with a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz. The armored RAM on board is 1GB while the native memory is 8GB. The storage is expandable by adding microSD cards.

Android 4.4 KitKat is running on the phone. Lava Iris Alfa is provided with a 5MP camera with LED flash and auto focus. There is a VGA camera on the front side. The new addition of Lava is powered by a 2200mAh battery. The cell has capabilities to keep the phone running for long hours during the day. It is a dual-SIM device as most of the smartphone in this category.

The connectivity capabilities of the handset include support for 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The price of the Lava Iris Alfa costs INR 6550 ($105, or €90). Buyers of the phone receive Truecaller premium. This is a search app that brings free downloads offer on Hungama Music app for Rs. 2000.
