The budget smartphones Cloud Q5 and Aqua Star II 16GB go official
Intex always seems to have something new to offer to its users. The Indian manufacturer took the wraps off two new additions to the market of budget handsets – Intex Cloud Q5 and Intex Aqua Star II 16GB. Both are low-end smartphones that are packed with basic features for Android-running devices.
Intex Cloud Q5 sports a 4.5-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 480 x 854p. It works with a quad-core processor under the hood ticking at 1.3GHz with Spreadtrum chip on board. The handset works with 1GB RAM and provides 8GB internal memory. MicroSD cards can be used for expansion of the default storage. On the rear side of the Cloud Q5 lies an 8MP sensor with LED flash. On the front panel is set a 2MP camera. The connectivity capabilities include Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS. The new smartphone works with a 1600mAh cell. It can be purchased for $70 retail price.
The more advanced model of the new duo is the Intex Aqua Star II 16GB. The diagonal of its screen is 5 inches. It boasts a resolution of 480 x 854p. In the gut of the entry-level smartphone works a quad-core CPU 2GHz with 2GB RAM. As its name suggests the storage in the model is 16GB. It is provided with 8MP primary camera on the rear side with autofocus. The camera for selfies is with a resolution of 5MP. Aqua Star II supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 3G. It can be yours for around $120 off-contract. The battery of the handset is a 1200mAh cell.
