Lenovo took the wraps off Lenovo Vibe S1 packed with a dual selfie camera
A few days before the beginning of IFA 2015 a leak shed more light on the upcoming selfie-centric smartphone of Lenovo that is expected to boast a dual front camera. The name of the handset is Lenovo Vibe S1. As rumors suggested earlier, the special about this device is its dual front snapper that includes an 8MP camera and a 2MP sensor. Before we share more about the front-facing camera, let’s describe the specs of the smartphone.
Lenovo Vibe S1 is provided with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1080p. Under the hood of the handset is working octa-core CPU clocked at 1.7GHz with MediaTek MT6752 chip and 3GB RAM. The included native memory in the device is 32GB. A slot for microSD cards is also a part of the whole package of Lenovo Vibe S1. The OS pre-installed on the phone is Android 5.0 Lollipop. The primary camera is a rear sensor with a 13MP resolution. The selfie dual camera provides advanced possibilities for more quality and creative selfies. The purpose of the second camera on the front with 2MP is to give a sense of depth in the images. Some of the options at users’ disposal are: refocus of the picture, adding of a bokeh effect that can help you remove unwanted scenes from the background of the selfie etc.
The battery of the selfie-oriented Lenovo Vibe S1 is a 2500mAh cell. The phone supports all the connectivity features you would need in your day, including 4G LTE. The launching of the Vibe S1 is scheduled for November. It comes in two colors – Midnight Blue and Pearl White at a price of $299.
