Acer introduced the new Acer Predator devices and several Android-powered and Windows-powered smartphones
Acer brought to IFA 2015 a whole lot of devices to satisfy the various expectations of users. The extraordinary line of devices purposed for gamers, Predator was expanded with a new smartphone and a tablet. Both devices impress with sharp and distinctive designs. Along with them, the company unveiled new Android-powered smartphones and a Windows 10-running handset.
Acer Predator 6 is the perfect smartphone for gamers. It is provided with a 6-inch screen. Under the hood of the phablet is running the powerful deca-core MediaTec CPU with the jaw-dropping 4GB RAM. On the back of the model lies a 21MP snapper. Both, the tablet and the smartphone are well-endowed with features for gamers.
Speaking of tablet, the Acer Predator 8 sports a 8-inch screen, 1200 x 1920p resolution. The CPU equipped with the slate is Intel Atom X7-Z8700 in configuration with Gen. 8-LP Intel HD Graphics. The provided RAM is 2GB. The Predator 8 comes with 32GB or 64GB native memory. It is still unknown when the new Predetor(s) will go for sells. Rumors have it that the tablet might be launched this month.
The Liquid Z series of Acer has added a few new smartphones with basic capabilities and features. Acer Liquid Z630 and its variant Liquid Z630S are 5.5-inchers with IPS screens, 720p. The processor included in the handsets is MediaTek MT6735 with four cores clocked at 1.3GHz and 1 or 2GB RAM. The software running on the smartphones is Android Lollipop. The storage by default in Liquid Z630 is 16GB while the Z630S arrives with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory. Both devices are powered by a 4000mAh battery. They are LTE-enabled. The main camera of the models is with 8MP resolution.
Acer Liquid Z530 and Z530S are armed with a 5-inch screen, 720p resolution. The models are powered by the same processor equipped with Z630. They are LTE-enabled. Z530S comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage by default. Acer Liquid Z530 stands-out with a new bold look. It boasts a back-facing round dts speaker. The rest of the specs of the handset remain the same as the features of Liquid Z630.
Acer Liquid Z330 and is a low-end smartphone. It is outfitted with a 4.5-inch screen, 480 x 854p resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chip paired with 1GB RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It has two 5MP cameras – on back and on front. Acer introduced a variant of the Z330 named Acer Liquid Z320. It sports lower-end specs. The processor is lower-end and the front facing camera of the device is with 2MP resolution instead of 5MP.
Acer had something to present for Windows-users as well. The Acer Liquid M330 and M320 are the same entry-level devices as their Android-powered siblings with similar names, however they run on Windows 10.
