The new slick mid-rangers Huawei Nova and Nova Plus went official at IFA2016
Huawei is one of the most significant manufacturers of smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and etc in China. The company successfully presents a lot of its newest devices on the global market, so it is rather exciting to learn more about the announcements Huawei made at IFA 2016. Two new smartphones stole the spotlight in Berlin – the Huawei Nova and the Huawei Nova Plus.
The Nova boasts mid-ranged specs and a slick design. Speaking of design, the exterior of the new phone reminds of the Huawei Nexus 6P, but a lot smaller than the original device. The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS screen, 1080p resolution. It is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS as a foundation of the authentic OS of Huawei, the EMUI 4.1. The octa-core processor of the Nova works with Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 3GB RAM. The default memory on board is 32GB. The device supports the usage of microSD cards for expansion of the storage. The two cameras equipped with the Huawei Nova include a primary snapper on the rear plate with 12MP resolution, and an 8MP shooter for video calls and selfies set on the front side. The camera provided in the handset is with a capacity of 3020mAh. The new Nova boasts a fingerprint sensor on the rear back and a USB Type-C port.
The Huawei Nova Plus comes in a larger size than the original Nova. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS screen. It works with the same processor and OS as the smaller Nova, as well as the same amount of RAM and storage. The main camera of the Nova Plus is with a resolution of 16MP. The battery of the new device is 3340mAh capacity.
The launching of the duo Nova(s) is getting launched next month in colors Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey and Prestige Gold. The Nova will cost $446 (around €399) while the Nova Plus will be available for $480 (around €429).
