Huawei Nexus 6P is the new phablet flagship of Google
The new flagships of Google are officially unveiled. Say ‘Hello’ to the Huawei Nexus 6P and the LG Nexus 5X. Both devices feature stylish designs and premium build. They are packed with high-end specs and capabilities.
Huawei Nexus 6P has a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, QHD resolution. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 is included for protection. The dimensions of the chassis of the phablet are 159.4 x 77.8 x 7.3mm with metal unibody design. It weighs 178 grams. The processor of Nexus 6P is with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip paired with 3GB RAM. Nexus 6P comes in 3 variants in terms of storage – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The flagship is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a great diversity of features, such as the Doze that saves power and etc. The primary snapper of Nexus 6P is with 12.3MP resolution that provides large 1.55µm pixels and a wide aperture F/2.0. It boasts laser autofocus, dual-LED flash and have the capabilities to record 4K video. The front-facing camera is with 8MP resolution. On the front panel of the device is integrated a fingerprint scanner.
A USB Type C connector is a part of the package of Nexus 6P. The phablet is powered by a 3450mAh battery. The device supports the full range of connectivity features, including LTE. It is getting launched in Aluminum, Frost, Graphite and exclusively in Japan, Gold colors. The price of the 32GB Nexus 6P is $500 off-contract. The 128GB model costs $650. Nexus 6P is available for pre-orders with shipping scheduled in the coming weeks.
