The upcoming phablet Huawei KIW-AL20 appeared in the database of TENAA
The Huawei KIW-AL20 is the model name of a new phablet of the Chinese company that is yet to be announced. The device appeared in the database of TENAA which means that the unveiling is coming soon. Rumors have it that it is a new addition to the Honor line of the company.
The specs of the Huawei KIW-AL20 include a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. It works with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Kirin 950 chip. The hardware configuration includes 3GB RAM. The internal memory on board is 32GB. It is still unknown whether the model supports microSD cards for expansion. In terms of software the upcoming Huawei KIW-AL20 is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The database entry of TENAA reveals that it has a 13MP main camera located on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera. The phone is outfitted with a fingerprint sensor. The panel of the unannounced phablet is made of metal. It boasts dimensions of 151.3 × 76.3 × 8.15 mm and weighs 158g. The color options for the handset are: Gray, Silver and Gold. It supports 4G LTE. The included photos of the mid-ranger reveal support for dual-SIM. Perhaps one of the slots could be used for microSD cards. However this is yet to be confirmed by the manufacturer.
There are rumors that the Huawei KIW-AL20 might be the advanced variation of Huawei Honor 5X or the Honor 7 Plus. We will wait and see. There is still not information on debut date, release and availability of the new phablet. Stay tuned.
