The flagship Huawei Honor 7 is the new flagship of the company
The rumors and leaks about the unannounced flagship of Huawei, the Honor 7 were pouring in the tech world in the past few weeks. The last day of June is the big day for Huawei Honor 7. The flagship is officially here. The company presented the handset at a special event in its home country. What we can say as first impressions of the smartphone is that the waiting was worth it. The Honor 7 boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD screen.
Huawei has integrated octa-core CPU set at 2.2GHz with HiSilicon Kirin 935 chip. The hardware configuration of the smartphone includes also 3GB RAM. The storage provided in the device depends on the variant – either 16GB or 64GB. In both models there is a slot for microSD cards tucked under the hood. The software running on Huawei Honor 7 is Android 5.0 Lollipop. As expected, the Chinese manufacturer has customized the platform with its own feature and apps included in the EMUI 3.1.
The main camera of the flagship is an impressive 20MP Sony IMX230 snapper with dual-LED flash and abundance of features. The secondary camera is also nice with 8MP set on the front panel. Honor 7 is a dual-SIM device. Among the advantages of the flagship is the integrated fingerprint scanner on the rear plate under the camera module.
The new smartphone of Huawei is LTE-enabled. On the inside lies a 3100mAh battery that provides enough juice for the Honor 7 to keep the device working at full capacity for hours. Huawei Honor 7 is getting released tomorrow (1st of July) at price of $322 for the 16GB variant, and $400 for the 64GB model.
The flagship of Huawei was accompanied by the attractive wearable gadget Honor Bracelet Zero. It is a smartband with fitness related capabilities. The device is coming to markets in August.
