The new mid-ranger of Huawei is officially here, the Huawei Honor 6X
Huawei’s just unveiled a new mid-ranger that looks awesome and has a lot to offer for the fans of great cameras in a cell phone, the Huawei Honor 6X. The front panel of the device is endowed with a 5.5-inch screen with 2.5D curved glass and a resolution at 1080p. On the inside of the Honor 6X works an octa-core processor with Kirin 655 chipset and Mali T830-MP2 GPU for the graphics.
The mid-ranger is coming in a few options in terms of RAM and storage. The 32GB device is equipped either with 3GB RAM or 4GB while the 64GB variation features 4GB of RAM. All the models provide support for microSD cards. A downside of the Huawei Honor 6X is the OS – it is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow which is not a bad thing, but it would have be so much better to see the mid-ranger powered by the Android 7.0 Nougat. While the platform of the model is a bit disappointing, the main camera of the smartphone is definitely a feature that makes up for it.
The dual-camera setup…
The Honor 6X is outfitted with a dual-camera on the back with 12MP sensor with 6P lens and a 2MP sensor. It is exciting to find out more about the capabilities of this dual-camera set up, so stay tuned. On the front side is lying an 8MP camera for video calls. The rear panel of the Honor 6X boasts a fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity, the mid-ranger supports 4G VoLTE. The battery that works under the hood is 3340mAh and as expected, it supports fast charging. The color options for the smartphone include rose gold, blue, silver and grey. The new addition of Huawei is landing on the markets in China at price starting at CNY 999 for the 3GB/32GB. The phone will be available for purchase on 25th of October.
