Huawei Ascend G8 is the new mid-ranger of the company that is getting released by China Telecom
Huawei unveiled a new attractive mid-ranged smartphone – Huawei Ascend G8 in its home country China. The handset is outfitted with a metallic uni-body panel. It stands-out with a 5.5-inch glass with Full HD resolution. The Ascend G8 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip with 64-bit architecture paired with Adreno 405 GPU.
The Chinese manufacturer is releasing two variants of the mid-ranger. The first one comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB native memory. The second version is outfitted with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage by default. Huawei Ascend G8 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop running out-of-the-box. The cameras of the smartphone are among its key features. It is armed with a 13MP camera on the rear side with PureCel sensor and dual-tone LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP sensor that delivers excellent performance for selfies and video chats.
Ascend G8 supports microSD cards for expansion of the storage (both models) and dual-SIM. It has a fingerprint scanner on the rear plate below the primary camera. The connectivity capabilities of the device include support for 4G LTE. The new mid-ranger works with a 3000mAh cell under the hood. Huawei is launching Huawei Ascend G8 in different colors, including black, gold and white. It is getting launched by China Telecom. The price of the model with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage is around $370 while the smartphone with 3GB RAM and 32GB memory will be available at $434 off-contract.
