HTC officially presented the HTC One X9 in China
The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC made a nice surprise for its fans by announcing the HTC One X9. The smartphone is officially unveiled in China. It is a stylish mid-ranger with 5.5-inch diagonal of display with a resolution of 1080p. The panel of the HTC One X9 is made of metal and boasts an appealing design. The new smartphone can be considered of a more premium version of the HTC One A9. The new handset has capacitive navigation buttons on the front side. In the gut of the handset is outfitted a MediaTek Helio X10 chip with 3GB RAM.
The processor is octa-core. The 32GB of storage provided on board can be expanded via microSD cards. The main camera of HTC One X9 is with a resolution of 13MP. It lies on the back of the device. It has a dual flash and OIS. The camera has RAW photo support. On the front panel is placed the secondary camera with 5MP. It works with a 3000mAh cell packed under the hood. The software pre-installed on the device is Android. It is still unknown whether it is Lollipop or Marshmallow, but the expectations suggest that 6.0 is running on the model out-of-the-box. While most of the specs of the One X9 are better than the One A9, the latter has the advantage of a fingerprint sensor.
The mid-ranger is getting released for Yuan 2399 (around $370). The starting price of the device is actually lower than the costs at launching for One A9. The HTC One X9 will be available for purchase in Silver and Gunmetal Grey. It supports Dual-SIM. The connectivity capabilities of the handset include Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth and 4G LTE. The launch date is yet to be revealed.
