The HTC One M9s debuts in Taiwan, a new version of the flagship
The Taiwanese manufacturer HTC added a new variation of its HTC One M9 flagship. The newcomer is named HTC One M9s. It was announced in Taiwan. The specs of the device include a 5-inch LCD glass with FullHD resolution. The smartphone sports the same design and build as the original flagship with all-metal panel. It measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6mm and weighs 158 grams.
On the inside the One M9s is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 chipset that replaced the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip in the One M9. The newly announced handset boasts 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory. The model supports microSD cards for users that prefer to expand the storage. The primary shooter of the smartphone is a rear sensor with 13MP resolution with OIS, f/2.0 aperture and sapphire crystal front element. On the front side is equipped a 4MP UltraPixel camera. The platform pre-installed on the phone is Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
The connectivity capabilities of the One M9s include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and 4G LTE. The battery that powers the device is a 2840mAh cell. One M9s is getting launched in a Dazzling Gold shell. It costs TWD 12900 (around $390) off-contract. The smartphone is already up-for-pre-orders in Taiwan. Shipping begins on 21st of November.
