HTC One A9 is the new flagship of the Taiwanese manufacturer
HTC could not keep the mystery around the flagship HTC One A9 and the device appeared in numerous leaks in the last weeks. The big day arrived and the Taiwanese manufacturer officially introduced the high-end flagship HTC One A9 at an extraordinary event with live streaming. The smartphone features a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 pixels. It has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top of it. The new flagship sports a stunning design similar to its predecessor, metal unibody and antenna stripes on the rear panel.
The hardware working in its gut is with eight cores with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617.There are two variants of HTC One A9 in terms of RAM. One of them boasts 2GB RAM while the other is outfitted with 3GB. The first variation is provided with 16GB storage. The second model arrives with 32GB internal memory. One A9 supports microSD cards. The flagship is the first device except the Nexus line that will go for sells with the latest update of the Google’s platform, the newly released Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The primary camera equipped in the handset is with 13MP resolution. It lies on the back and have OIS and the capabilities to record 1080p video. Among the advantages of the camera is the support for RAW and Hyperlapse videos (stabilized time-lapse). On the front side of HTC One A9 lies a 4MP UltraPixel camera with a bright F/2.0 aperture. The flagship has a fingerprint sensor on board. It is 4G LTE-enabled, of course. Battery-wise, the phone is powered by a 2150mAh cell. It supports Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0. The launching of the HTC One A9 is scheduled for 5th of November. The available colors will be Carbon Grey, Deep Garnet, Opal Silver and Topaz Gold. The expected price of the flagship is €599 off-contract.
