A new mid-ranger on the horizon – HTC Desire 728 goes official

The Taiwanese mobile giant HTC presented a new mid-ranger named HTC Desire 728. It is everything we can expect from a handset from the Desire series. The smartphone rocks a plastic body. The screen of HTC Desire 728 is with 5.5-inch diagonal and a resolution of 720 pixels. On the inside it has an octa-core processor, 1.3GHz with 64-bit architecture and MediaTek MT6753 chipset.

The hardware configuration includes 2GB of RAM. The mid-ranger offers 16GB native memory and slot for microSD cards that allow expansion. There is something interesting about the memory – users can expand it with up to 2TB, which is definitely a lot of storage in case you need it in your phone. The software pre-installed on the model does not surprise – it is Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Sense UI on top. Desire 728 boasts a 13MP primary snapper on the rear panel. The front-facing CMOS camera is with 5MP resolution.

The handset supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G LTE Cat.4 connectivity. The juice provider for HTC Desire 728 is a 2800mAh battery. The device supports 5V and 1.5A fast charging. There are two options for colors grey and white. The price of the smartphone is $269 without a commitment. The smartphone is purposed for markets across Asia.
