Gionee Pioneer P4S debuts in India, costs $125
Gionee is adding a new smartphone to its big family. The handset bares the name Gionee Pioneer P4S. It is the successor of the Gionee Pioneer P4 introduced last summer. The new smartphone is an entry-level device outfitted with a 4.5-inch screen. In its gut is integrated a CPU with four cores working at 1.3GHz with 1GB RAM. The hardware configuration includes MediaTek MT6582 chip and 8GB memory by default (expandable).
The platform pre-installed on Gionee Pioneer P4S is Android 4.4 KitKat. The face side of the handset is adorned with a camera with 2MP. On the rear panel lies a 5MP snapper. The primary camera boasts features such as panorama mode, face recognition, HDR and etc. The Pioneer P4S is provided with HotKnot capability that works in a similar way as the NFC connectivity. Speaking of connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G as well.
The smartphone is a dual-SIM model. The Pioneer P4S is armed with a 1800mAh under the hood. The price of the new addition of Gionee is INR 7799 ($125). It is coming to markets in India.
