The entry-level Gionee P5W is officially released in India
Gionee is presenting a new budget handset in India, Gionee P5W. The 5-inched display of the smartphone has a resolution of 720 pixels. The smartphone was listed in the company’s website few weeks ago and now the device is ready to land on the shelves of retailers in India. The panel of the new phone is made of plastic with a lot of color options for users to choose from.
The CPU tucked in the gut of the Gionee P5W is with four cores and MediaTek MT6735 chip ticking at 1.3GHz. The device boasts 1GB RAM and Mali-T720 GPU for the graphics as part of the hardware configuration. The low-end smartphone is packed with 16GB of internal storage. It can be expanded via microSD cards. The entry-level handset is powered by Android 5.1 Lollipop customized with Amigo 3.1.
Gionee P5W has a modest duo of cameras. The main sensor is with 5MP resolution and LED flash, located on the rear panel. The secondary camera is a 2MP snapper. In terms of a battery, the low-end device is powered by a 2000mAh juicepack. The connectivity capabilities of the entry-level smartphone include support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3G. The Gionee P5W is up-for-sells in India at price of Rs. 6499 (around $95). It is offered in red, yellow, blue, white and black colors. It is a dual-SIM model.
