Xiaomi revealed the 6.44-incher Xiaomi Mi Max in China
Xiaomi Mi Max is officially here! The Chinese OEM was not wasting time before the announcement of the phablet and kept us interested with more than a few teasers and leaks. Now the Mi Max joins the tech arena with its 6.44-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920p and 2.5D glass on top. Surprisingly, the large phablet is very thin for his size, just 7.5mm around the waist.
The panel of the Xiaomi Mi Max is made of glass and metal. In the chassis of the device is ticking a hexa-core processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chip in a configuration with 3GB RAM or 4GB. The storage included in the phablet is 32GB or 64GB or 128GB. Users can add even more memory with microSD cards.
The software running on the Mi Max is the latest update of Android with MIUI 8 on top. On the rear panel of the phablet is outfitted a 16MP camera with dual-LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The selfie-lovers are not forgotten. The device is provided with a 5MP snapper with wide-angle lens and a lot of possibilities to give a boost to your selfies. The power provider for the Xiaomi Mi Max comes in the form of a 4850mAh cell tucked under the hood. The phablet is assured with a fingerprint sensor on the back. Xiaomi is releasing a few variations of the large-sized smartphone:
- 3GB, 32GB and hexa-core Snapdragon 650 chip for 1499 yuan (around $230)
- 3GB, 64GB quad-core Snapdragon 652 chip for 1699 yuan (around $260)
- 4GB, 128GB, quad-core Snapdragon 652 chip for 1999 yuan (around $307)
