ZTE Weiwu 3 is a mid-ranged phablet with octa-core processor
The big Chinese carrier China Mobile announced a few new devices that it is launching this month. One of them is the ZTE Weiwu 3 which is the same device as the ZTE V5 3, just getting released under a different name. The exterior of the handset impresses with a slick design with a metallic unibody panel and very slim side bezels. The panel equipped in the ZTE Weiwu 3 is LCD with 5.5-inches diagonal and Full HD resolution. When we do that math we have around 401ppi pixel density of the display.
Under the hood of the smartphone is ticking a processor with eight cores and Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip. It is set at 1.5GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM. The internal storage that is provided in the device is 16GB. Users who find this amount of memory too modest can add more storage via microSD cards. ZTE Weiwu 3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. ZTE has customized the Google’s platform with its own Nubia UI 3.0. The primary camera of the handset is a CMOS rear sensor with 13MP resolution. The secondary camera in the phablet is a 5MP snapper.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. The battery of ZTE Weiwu 3 is a 3000mAh cell. It supports a wide range of connectivity features, like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE. China Mobile is selling the smartphone for $267 without a commitment in Champagne&Gold color.
