Three new smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series are coming to CES 2017
The official start of the CES 2017 tech exhibition in Las Vegas is scheduled for 5th of January. However a lot of companies prefer to make some of the announcements of devices and tech in the days just before the CES, so the visitors of the event will enjoy seeing the newly presented devices in real during the tech show. Samsung has just revealed three of the most rumored smartphones in the last weeks of 2016, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017). The first market where the phones will be launched officially is Russia, coming later this month.
The new trio sports similar panels with a rear plate made of 3D glass and a metal frame. They are water- and dust-resistant with IP68 certificate. Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
The smaller smartphone of the group sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 720p resolution. In terms of hardware, the Galaxy A3 works with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz and coupled with 2GB RAM. It has a slot for microSD cards on board for expansion of the provided 16GB storage out-of-the-box. On the back side of the handset is positioned the primary 13MP camera while on the front side is set an 8MP camera. The battery of the Galaxy A3 (2017) is with a capacity of 2350mAh.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017)
The two smartphones are pretty similar in terms of specs, appearance and capabilities. In fact, the main differences between the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 are the size of the displays and the batteries. The first device arrives with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED screen, 1080p resolution while the size of the A7 (2017) is 5.7-inch at diagonal. Both phones work with octa-core processor ticking at 1.9GHz. They feature 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory with provided microSD slot for cards for expansions. Each device sports a pair of 16MP cameras – back and front. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is powered by a 3000mAh battery while the Galaxy A7 (2017) comes with a 3600mAh cell on board.
All three smartphones will be showcased at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada, US. The prices are not revealed yet, but some retailers like Vodafone UK already confirmed that they will cell the new Galaxy A members.
