Alcatel A3 XL debuted at CES 2017 with a 6-inch IPS display
Alcatel’s just unveiled the affordable Alcatel A3 XL from the “A” line of the company at the CES 2017. This series of the devices of Alcatel features decent specs and designs at affordable prices. The phablet stands out with a 6-inch IPS LF display with HD resolution.
On the inside the large-sized smartphone works with a quad-core processor with MediaTek MT8735 chip clocked at 1.1GHz. The amount of RAM is on the modest side – just 1GB. The provided native storage is also relatively small, only 8GB. The usage of microSD cards might be needed with this device for expansion with up to 32GB. The main camera of the A3 XL is set on the back with 8MP resolution and LED flash. On the front side is located the selfie snapper with 5MP.
The battery of the phablet has 3000mAh capacity. In terms of connectivity capabilities the big smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG and GPS. On the back of the handset is positioned a fingerprint sensor. The price of the Alcatel A3 XL is yet to be revealed. The company has confirmed that the launching is scheduled for the Q1 2017 for the markets across the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and on the shelves of European retailers in Q2 2017. The phablet will be offered in various color options.
