CES 2016 News: The Windows 10-Powered Flagship Acer Liquid Jade Primo is Official

Acer took the wraps off the high-end Acer Liquid Jade Primo running on Windows

At IFA 2015 was presented the Windows 10 Continuum for Phones feature running on one of the most impressive smartphone of the manufacturer Acer, the Acer Liquid Jade Primo. Although the specs of the handset were revealed at the event, the device was not properly officially announced. The high-end smartphone debuted at the press event prior CES 2016. Acer Liquid Jade Primo features 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass on top and a resolution of 1080p.

In the gut of the flagship is ticking a hexa-core processor with Snapdragon 808 chip in combination with 3GB RAM. The processor has an advanced cooling system that protects the smartphone from overheating. In terms of storage, the smartphone boasts 32GB out-of-the-box. The operating system running on the hardware of Acer Liquid Jade Primo is Windows 10 Mobile with the Continuum feature that can turn your smartphone into a PC. It enables working with a mouse, monitor and a keyboard attached to the device.

The rear camera of the high-end handset is with a resolution of 21MP, dual-LED flash and the capabilities to capture 4K video. On the front side lies an 8MP camera with wide-angle lens for awesome selfies. The supported connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and 4G LTE Cat.6. Acer Liquid Jade Primo is expected to land on the markets next month. It will be released in different countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The retail price of the flagship is €569 (around $617). The color option for the device is black.
