BLU officially launched the BLU Studio Energy with 5000mAh battery
Few weeks ago at CES 2015 in Las Vegas the US-based manufacturer BLU presented few mid-rangers. One of the most impressive new devices of the company is BLU Studio Energy. The key feature of the handset is its pretty large battery with a capacity of 5000mAh. It is definitely something we don’t see every day in the tech world. The Studio Energy is packed in relatively slim body keeping in mind the large cell tucked in its gut. It is only 10.4mm thick and 180 grams heavy.
The screen of BLU Studio Energy is with 5-inch diagonal and 720p resolution. The processor that works in the phone is with four cores set at 1.3GHz. It features 1GB RAM. The amount of native storage is only 8GB. Users have the option to expand it with microSD cards. The phone is launched with Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed but BLU is planning to update the model with Android 5.0 Lollipop this summer.
The new smartphone boasts a 8MP camera set on the backplate and a 2MP camera for video-calls. The 5000mAh battery can keep the device running for up to 45 days in standby mode. Users can expect to rely on 4 days usage of the phone in ordinary days. BLU Studio Energy supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. It costs $149 on Amazon.
