Asus officially released the new Asus Zenfone 2 handsets
Among the latest additions of the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus are the Asus Zenfone 2 announced earlier. Although the devices have the same names, the specs are quite different, and so are the prices. The company released the smartphones officially at a special event in its home-country Taiwan.

The price of this model is NTD 8990 ($285). The more modest variant of the smartphone is equipped with the same display. However the processor in this device is quad-core 1.8GHz with 2GB RAM. It is cheaper than its sibling. The handset can be yours for NTD 6990 ($220).

It is interesting why Asus has decided to release so many phones under the same name Zenfone 2. Be sure you are familiar with the specs of the certain device you are buying or you might end up with a lower-end smartphone than the one you wanted. Taiwan is the first market that welcomes the new additions of Asus. The next countries where the company will introduce the models are Hong Kong, China, France and Singapore. Few weeks after that, they will arrive in India, Southeast Asia, Italy and Brazil in early summer.
