Asus Padfone S Plus will be up-for-grabs in Malaysia for $302
Asus has scheduled the launch date of the Asus Padfone S Plus in Malaysia for 8th of April. The new device is an improved version of the Asus Padfone S aka the Padfone X for international markets. The specs of the new addition of Asus include a 5-inch LCD display, 1080p, the same glass outfitted in the Asus Padfone S. It has pixel density of 441ppi.
The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 2.3GHz processor with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip. The Asus Padfone S Plus comes with more RAM on board – 3GB and more storage – 64GB, compared to the modest amount of 16GB assured in the original device.
The new model has the same primary camera with 13MP on the rear panel like its sibling. It has LED flash and F2.0 aperture as well as features like Face detection and autofocus. The secondary snapper is with 2MP. The battery that is integrated in both devices is with a capacity of 2300mAh. The smartphone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and LTE connectivity. For those of you who haven’t see the Padfone devices of Asus yet, the company has designed them as smartphones that can be attached to a docking station that turns them into tablets.
The price of Asus Padfone S Plus is $302 without the docking station. The smartphone goes for sells in Malaysia on April 8th.
