Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE is the mid-ranged tablet getting released by AT&T
AT&T is releasing the 7-inched tablet of Asus named Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE. The slate has a 7-inch IPS glass with 1200 x 800p. The processor that powers the tablet is with four cores clocked at 1.3GHz and Intel Atom chip. The 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory are provided by default. Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE has a microSD slot for cards that enables expansion of the storage.
It might be a bit disappointing that the new device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box but the affordable price of the tablet makes up for this disadvantage. The primary shooter in the rear side of the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE is with 5MP while the secondary camera is with modest 2MP. The slate is packed with dual front speakers. As the name suggests, the new tablet on the shelves of AT&T is LTE-enabled. The carrier is releasing the model on 10th of April. The subsidized price of the tablet is $74.99 with signed two-year contract.
The retail price without commitment with the mobile operator is $174.99. The carrier offers the possibility to buy it with the AT&T Next plan. In this way the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE can be yours for $0 and 20 monthly payments of $8.75. The tablet costs $0.99 for the subscribers of AT&T Next who buy any smartphone on this plan. The carrier GoPhone revealed it will offer the tablet with pre-paid plans. It costs $25 per month which give you 2GB data transfer, $50 for 5GB, and $75 for 8GB. The launching of the Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE by GoPhone is happening later this month, on 24th of April.
