Asus Live goes official in Brazil

Asus has just presented a new budget smartphone in Brazil named Asus Live. In terms of specs the newcomer reminds of the Asus Zenfone Go model revealed late in summer 2015. The Asus Live sports a 5-inch display. The resolution of the screen is 720 pixels.

The new handset is armed with MediaTek MT6580 chip in its gut. The processor is quad-core 1.3GHz. It works in a configuration with 2GB RAM. The new device is outfitted with 16GB of internal memory. It supports microSD cards for an easy expansion of the storage. The rear panel of the device “hosts” the main camera with a resolution of 8MP. On the front side is placed the secondary camera with 2MP for video calls. The battery of the new smartphone is with 2070mAh.

Asus Live has all the connectivity features you can expect in a mid-ranger, such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G LTE. The handset has dual-SIM capabilities. The design of the Asus Live is similar to the appearance of the Asus Zenfone Go. The device measures 144.5 x 71 x 9.98 mm. One of the main differences between the two models is the provided build-in digital TV receiver in the Live. It is getting launched in Pink, Yellow and Blue at a price of 849 BRL ($211) in Brazil. It is not revealed whether the new smartphone will be released in more countries.
