iOS 8.1.2 is bringing bug fixes related to deleted paid ringtones
Three weeks ago Apple launched the iOS 8.1.1 OTA update that brought important bug fixes and improvements of the performance especially for the Apple iPhone 4S and Apple iPad 2. Now the company is sending out the iOS 8.1.2 update to the following models tablets iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini with Retina display. The members of the iPhone line that will get the bug fixes are iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, the plastic iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and the phablet iPhone 6 Plus. Last but not least in the list is the iPod touch fifth generation. It brings bug fixes related to deleted ringtones bought via iTunes App Store on some devices.
Apple confirmed that this error will no longer happen after the devices are updated with iOS 8.1.2. The company has launched a website for iOS users who was affected by this bug. They have the possibility to restore the deleted ringtones from the iOS. The size of the update iOS 8.1.2 is around 30MB. The size can vary depending on the device and the model you are installing it on.
The update is fixing small, but very annoying problems caused by the bug.
